Open Source Projects Design Solutions
Since the creation of Eforcers, our company has had a high commitment to the open source projects and we have always developed solutions based on this kind of projects. On one hand the developing custom-made applications and on the other creating solutions with open source software that allows us to satisfy our client's needs. The process we follow for this type of projects is the following:
- Definition of the client's needs through a set of requirements.
- Identify the applications or systems which meet the requirements definied by the client, evaluate the options according to the evaluation criteria.
- Test on a controlled environment the best identified solutions, to verify their functionality and the meeting of evaluation criteria, thus allowing us to select the right solution.
- Customize the selected solution so it fits the clients needs, its visual appareance, message customization and other elements that can be adjusted in the solution.
- Install and configure the system on the defintive platform so it is available to users in production.
- Provide support to the selected system, to guarantee correction of possible defects and incorporate possibles modifications in the presentation, requirements, technological platform or business rules.
Trough the use of open source software we have developed and generated an important number of solutions that are currently operating. The following is the reference to open source projects that we had succesfully implemented.

PhpCollab is a collaboration software through the Internet focused to working teams involved on specific projects. Through its architecture, the workteams can share information among them and share information with the customers when they wish to do so. |
| Mantis |

Corresponds to a system that allows administration and following of bugs(software errors) and that can be integrated to PHPCollab. |
| Moodle |

Moodle is a software package for the creation of courses and websites based on the Internet. It is a project in progress designed to give support a constructive online education. |
| Sugar.Sales |

Sugar.Sales is a CRM suite which includes sales, comercialization and customer service (The two later modules will be available soon). It is an easy-to-use and easy-to-install application. It is based on PHP and MySQL. |

PHPlist is a Web application which implements a list manager of customized e-mail. It's developed on PHP and uses an SQL database to store information. |

PhpBB is an online forums system highly customizable which has an easy-to-use interface, a simple and direct administration panel and very useful FAQ's. |

It's a content manager system of professional level which allows creation and handling of complex websites very easily and without knowing HTML. |
